Librarian’s Day
On the occasion of Dr. S.R. Rangnathan’s birth anniversary, Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology Library Committee celebrated National Librarian Day on 12th August, 2025, Tuesday. This day is celebrated in the memory of Dr. S.R. Rangnathan.
The celebration started with lighting of lamp and showring flowers on Dr. S. R. Ranganathan’s photo by Principal Dr. Rosline Linitta, Vice Principal Vidula Kulkarni, Vice Principal Surekha Padmaraj along with all committee members.
To mark the occasion, the Library Committee organized a "Bookmark Making Competition" for students across all seven departments of SCCT. A total of 52 students enthusiastically participated in the competition, showcasing their creativity and love for reading. The competition was judged by Asst. Prof. Ameer Shaikh.

The winning bookmarks, along with other creative entries, were displayed at the entrance of the college library on the 5th floor, drawing attention and appreciation from students and staff alike.
Overall, the event was a grand success, filled with enthusiastic participation, creativity, and celebration.
