On the occasion of
Dr. S.R. Rangnathan’s birth anniversary, Sanpada College of Commerce and
Technology Magazine and Library Committee celebrated National Librarian Day on
12th August, 2023, Saturday. This day is celebrated in the memory of Dr. S.R.
Rangnathan. The event began by showering flowers and lighting of the lamp by
the Chairperson, Co- chairperson and the other members of the library
committee. Every committee member was given a rose as a token of
appreciation.
The magazine and
library committee organized a bookmark designing competition for the students
of Sanpada College of Commerce and Technology. This competition was for the
students of all the seven departments and for all the classes. The students
were given a plain paper cutting for the bookmark designing and the students,
with great enthusiasm participated in the competition. The remaining material
was brought by the students.
Later, these
bookmarks were displayed on the notice board of the college in the 1st floor
lobby.
Overall, it was a
great event and a super successful one, where students whole- heartedly
participated and had a lot of fun.
