 HINDI BHASHA DIWAS 

ORGANIZED BY LIBRARY COMMITTEE IN COLLABORATION WITH CULTURAL COMMITTEE

     Time: 11:30 pm

     Venue: Room no. 508

     Objectives: Emphasize the significance of the Hindi language and its contribution to Indian culture, heritage, and unity.

     Activity: On the occasion of Hindi Diwas, our college successfully organized an Elocution Competition to celebrate the beauty and significance of the Hindi language.

 

The competition aimed to encourage students to express their views on topics related to Hindi and its importance in today's world. The event was introduced by Assistant Professor Ashvini Satve who delivered a motivating speech on the relevance of Hindi in preserving Indian culture and promoting national unity. The welcoming of Principal, Dr. Suryakant Lasune & Vice Principal, Dr. Roselin Linitta was done by Vaishali ma’am. Later a short documentary on Hindi Diwas was played for all the members present over there.

 

The topics for the elocution were thoughtfully selected to promote reflection on various aspects of Hindi language and culture.

Some of the key topics included:

"भारत का कल, आज एवं कल

"सोशल मीडिया का प्रभाव

"हिंदी भाषा - भारतीय एकता का प्रतीक

"आधुनिक जीवन में हिंदी भाषा का योगदान

 

Each participant was given 5mins to present their thoughts. The students displayed excellent oratory skills and deep understanding of the chosen topics, making the competition engaging and insightful. The speeches showcased a range of ideas, from the historical evolution of Hindi to its modern-day significance in a globalized world.

 

The competition was judged by esteemed faculty members, Assistant Professor Sushil Jadhav & Assistant Professor Tejal Dharamsi. They evaluated the participants on various parameters, including content, delivery, language fluency, and overall presentation.

 

After a closely contested event, the winners were announced:

First Winner:  Prakash Mandal

Second Winner: Lokesh Kocher

Third Winner: Hamja Khan 

The winners were awarded certificates and prizes by the chief guest. The judges commended all participants for their impressive performances and encouraged them to continue honing their public speaking skills. The event concluded with a formal Vote of thanks given by Vaishali Ma’am.

  Impact & Outcome: The Hindi Diwas Elocution Competition was a great success, providing students with a platform to express their thoughts on the importance of Hindi. It fostered a deeper appreciation for the language among the participants and the audience alike. The event concluded with a vote of thanks from the organizing committee, acknowledging the hard work and enthusiasm of everyone involved.
