BOOK REVIEW COMPETITION

Book Review Competition 

The SCCT Library Committee organized a Book Review Competition for all FY, SY, and TY students across the seven departments of the college. The initiative aimed to encourage students to develop and strengthen their reading habits.

The event was successfully conducted on 24th November 2025, students enthusiastically participated and showcase their analytical and literary skills through insightful book reviews.

SCCT Library is delighted to announce the Best Library User Award for the academic year 2024–25, declared under the guidance of our respected Principal, Dr. Roseline Linitta. This year, Mr. Kartik Gurav and Mr. Abhinav Gangurde, both from the Department of Computer Science, have been felicitated with this prestigious Library Award.

This award is offering to promote and motivate students to make effective use of the Library and its online & offline services. We are very hopeful that this initiative shall motivate the users to visit the Library and inculcate the reading habits. The user for this award is selected on the basis of their frequency of the use of Library reference books section, books issued, regular Library visit and behaviour inside the Library.
